Botox Babes and wrinkle treatment

When we started out in 2003 we were totally ‘non-invasive’ so this ruled out doing Botox (known as Vistabel in the UK).  However, over time, so many of our clients were requesting it that we did some research and decided to relax our stance to being ‘non-surgical’, thus allowing injections.

Botox is still the best wrinkle treatment and providing you find reputable practitioner it should be totally safe with little danger of unwanted effects.

But should young people start to use Botox to avoid getting wrinkles in the first place? Tell us what you think!

In the World of Skin (sounds like a Hannibal Lechter sofa shop?) there are striking differences between men and women. Lack of anti-oxidants, and lack of care in applying sun screen, mean that men are nearly twice as likely to develop melanoma despite men’s skin being thicker and ‘tougher’.

There’s quite a lot that savvy men can do for their skin to even up the balance, and it helps with anti aging too!

As the food police continue to warn us about unbalanced diets it’s easy to introduce changes that do, in fact, upset the balance.  One such piece of ‘advice’ is the Low Fat Diet.

Backing by powerful organisations such as the British Heart Foundation means that the apparent wisdom of a low fat diet has been accepted by many people.  But to get the message over to the public at large there has been some unhelpful simplification to the point where a lot of people are compromising their wellbeing by cutting out all fats, including the healthy fats.  Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are not billed as ‘Essential’ for nothing.
