SkinGenesis welcomes Emma Feeney to its growing team of skin therapists in its Leeds clinic.

Emma, 20, from Farnley, joins us after gaining lots of experience in the cosmetic industry, having previously worked for St Tropez and a similar skin treatment clinic specialising in laser therapy.

Settling in well, Emma has already built up a strong rapport with existing clients and says she is looking forward to working with new customers. As a skin therapist, Emma will be responsible for delivering expert therapeutic skin treatments including, amongst others, acne treatment, cellulite treatmentfat reduction, and skin rejuvenation.

Emma graduated from Thomas Danby College in 2005 with a Level 3 qualification in beauty therapy and has since built up an impressive skill-set through continuous on-the-job training in her previous posts.

We caught up with Emma and here’s what she had to say: “I’m really enjoying my new role at SkinGenesis. Everyone in the team has made me feel so welcome from day one and I have really enjoyed getting to know our clients. I get so much satisfaction out of helping people improve their skin, knowing that when their treatment is complete they will get such a confidence boost.

“I especially enjoy delivering acne treatments, hair removal and skin peels as these are the ones where the customers are usually most satisfied. All of our treatments provide clients with fantastic results and I’m looking forward to building upon my experience in all areas of the business.”

And when we asked what Will had to say, director of SkinGenesis, he commented: “Emma is a great addition to the Leeds team and has had a really positive impact on the clinic. It is clearly evident that Emma works well with the general public, which is obviously very important in this industry.

Just to blow our own trumpet a little bit more… we recently retained our ‘Investors in People’ accreditation following a recent in-depth review. We pride ourselves on placing training, development and support at the centre of our culture, as we believe this to be the key to the SkinGenesis success and the happiness of our clients and staff.

Will added: “As an ‘Investors in People’ company, we are looking forward to helping Emma develop within the business. We have some of the best specially-trained skin experts in the industry and through continued training and support, we are confident that Emma will be no exception.”
